PRAISE
Dear Friends of Praise Baptist Church and Alpha and
Omega Ministries
Your faithfulness in this year has been phenomenal and because of this, we have been able to make considerable progress towards our goal of creating a comfortable pleasant place in which to receive those God has chosen to send to us to minister.
Our chapel has been entirely remodeled, our porch removed and replaced providing a bit more seating capacity, and an entirely new area developed for our clothing ministry. Additionally we have remodeled a couple of bathrooms and installed some additional shelving and other storage in our kitchen and pantry, making these areas more comfortable and efficient.
We have been able through God's grace to develop deeper fellowship with several of our sister churches which has allowed some of our fellows to branch out and present their testimonies and offer their services to a much broader area of the Kingdom. This is a priceless experience for them. A part of our goal for the men we serve is to be able to turn out men who are not only clean and sober, but men who know the word and are ready to minister in whatever setting God lands them.
Another area in which we have seen great progress is in our praise and worship. God keeps uncovering hidden talent and polishing those already in service to the end that we have a very nice team in place. Gary Custard, our new grand son in law has stepped up as the leader and his music knowledge and dedication have made a positive difference. We also have another guitarist and song writer join us and a bass player, so our music is becoming more well rounded.
Again, a big thank you for all of you who support us through prayer and donations of various sorts. Without you none of these successes would happen
